2022 IATEFL ESPSIG Scholarships

IATEFL ESPSIG Mark Krzanowski Scholarship

The award consists of:

  • Registration for the ESPSIG Pre-Conference Event
  • Registration for the IATEFL Annual Conference
  • Travel and accommodation costs up to a maximum of GBP 700.00 against receipts
  • A year’s IATEFL membership, including ESPSIG

To qualify you must:

  • Be an ESPSIG member
  • Agree to present on ESP/EAP for the ESPSIG Showcase at the IATEFL Conference
  • Agree to write an article to be published in the ESPSIG journal to be submitted by the end of June 2022

To be considered you should submit:

  • An online speaker proposal on ESP/EAP by the scholarship deadline
  • Submit an essay of between 400-500 words outlining your plans for facilitating ESP in your area

In order to apply for a scholarship you must have created a profile for the IATEFL website, and you can now access the application process through your IATEFL Dashboard.

The submission deadline is 16.00 (UK time) on Wednesday 28 July 2021. Early submissions are very welcome; late submissions will not be considered.

The result of your application will be emailed to you between 25 August and 8 September 2021. Please do NOT contact the IATEFL Head Office about scholarship decisions; the Scholarship Committee will send everyone the results as soon as they are available.

IATEFL ESPSIG Roving Reporter Scholarship

The award consists of:

  • registration for the ESPSIG Pre-Conference Event
  • registration for the IATEFL Annual Conference
  • Travel and accommodation costs up to a maximum of GBP 700.00 against receipts
  • A year’s IATEFL membership, including ESPSIG

To qualify you must:

  • Be an ESPSIG member
  • Agree to present on ESP/EAP for the ESPSIG Pre-Conference Event at the IATEFL Conference
  • Be willing to be a roving reporter at the ESPSIG Pre-Conference Event and ESPSIG Showcase
  • Write a report on the ESPSIG PCE and SIG Showcase in Belfast by the end of June 2022 to be published on the ESPSIG website and newsletter

To be considered you should submit:

  • An essay of between 400-500 words outlining your plans for facilitating ESP in your area
  • A proposal for the ESPSIG Pre-Conference Event by the scholarship deadline. Your PCE proposal must be submitted using the following form.
