Ho Yuen Raymond CHEUNG is the ESPSIG Mark Krzanowski Scholarship winner 2026! 

Raymond has been a lecturer at HKU SPACE for four years. He coordinates EAP and Applied Learning (Vocational English) – English for Service Professionals, developing teaching materials and curriculum, and overseeing regular course operations. He also serves as the Experiential Learning Activity Coordinator, designing workshops in collaboration with hotel and aviation industry professionals to promote authentic service English for senior secondary students in the spirit of “learning by doing.” With a solid academic background and enduring passion for literary studies, Raymond teaches courses such as Dystopian Literature and Introduction to Comparative Literature in the Associate of Arts in English Language and Literature program. Recently appointed as the training coordinator, he organizes professional development opportunities for the division. Raymond holds two Master’s degrees in English Literary Studies from CUHK and LMU Munich and is CELTA and DELTA certified. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching classic movies at the cinema or getting lost in a novel at a local café.

He will be presenting a workshop at the ESPSIG PCE in Brighton with the title “Ending AI Shaming: Practical EAP Materials for Academic AI Literacy”.
