We’d love to stay connected with you and keep sharing ideas, experiences and good practice across our ESP community. We’re preparing our online Open Forum 2027, taking place on 12 December 2026, where you can meet the IATEFL ESPSIG Committee and hear more about our objectives, activities, upcoming events and publications.
Following the success of our previous Open Forums, we’d also like to get to know our members better. We therefore invite you to submit a proposal for a pop-up presentation. You could introduce yourself and your professional or academic interests, tell us about an ESP course you’ve worked on, share practical experience—or explore anything else you think would interest fellow members.
Your proposal should include:
- Name of presenter
- Affiliation
- Field of work within ESP
- Presentation title
- A short summary of your presentation (up to 100 words)
- Headshot to be shared in the Online Open Forum programme
- Consent to your email address being shared with event participants
- Consent to photographs or images of you taken during the event being shared on the ESPSIG website and social media channels
- Please send your proposal to [email protected] by midnight UK time on 16 November 2026.
Pop-up presentations will last 5–7 minutes and use PowerPoint slides. Successful speakers will receive the ESPSIG logo to include in their slides.
